Q: Monica, can you take care of my pet at your home?
A: Nope, sorry! I have a small home and two male cats. One cat is very laid back and would probably be fine with visitors. The other is extremely cranky and gets very stressed when I have people over... let alone other animals. I think I'd end up with a spraying problem if I had other animals in my home.

Q: Monica, How did you get started in the pet sitting business?
A: I took a ten day cruise in July of 2009 and had to find trustworthy, loving care for my two small kittens and my boyfriend's two dogs. I was such a nervous mama to leave my babies!!! When I came back I realized that I would love to be available to provide this kind of care for other people who love their animals so much. So, I started my business and it's been so much more rewarding than I could have imagined. I really enjoy being there for people's pets when they are gone, and it's very rewarding to develop strong bonds with these animals as I have repeat visits with the same families over the years.

Q: Are there any animals that you won't care for?
A: Yep... sorry, I don't do snakes simply because I can't bear to feed them live mice!
